  3. Excuse me? But, Target does not = all of what is said above.

Target does not = better land development. Why dont you accuse Kaneohe Ranch for not taking better care of their properties. Kaneohe Ranch has enough money to facelift their buildings, so why not facelift Don Quijote property, too? Why do we have to rely on a big-box store to make the area look "nicer"?

AND, have you seen Target's renderings? They look like buildings from the mainland! Heck--all of Kailua is starting to look more like the mainland. A resident at Target's meeting asked how Target is encompassing the "Kailua sense of place" into their building. Their answer was "adding wood trellis". Please dont tell me just by "adding wood" really makes Target look more like "Kailua"!!!

How do you know that Target will = Better jobs, benefits, and wages than what Don Quijote offers?

As for more job opportunites...I think not! For all the people Don Quijote will lay-off and the amount of small local businesses that Target will close up, it will equal more than the amount of jobs that Target will offer. Plus, how do you know all all jobs will be offered to local people??

So why dont YOU all "wake up" and educate yourself a little more by reading more of the information on this blog site...
