Police need your help catching Kailua bank robber
Honolulu police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspected bank robber who took money from a Kailua Bank of Hawaii Monday afternoon.
According to police the unknown man entered the bank on Kailua Road around 3:30 p.m. Monday handed a teller a note demanding money and fled the bank on foot after being given an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say that a weapon was mentioned but not seen.
The man is described as standing 5'2" - 5'6" tall and in his 30's.
He was wearing a black t-shirt, light colored shorts, white visor, blue backpack and sunglasses when he allegedly committed the crime.
